The Frost family business history dates back to the late 1800's, with horse and cart haulage delivering timber and coal, as well as moving heavy loads with teams of harnessed horses. The natural progression was on to general haulage then demolition and plant hire, once petrol-engined wagons were available.
By the 1960's we were one of the busiest muck shifting and demolition companies in the area, involved in the complete regeneration of the north east and working with most of the big names in the house building and construction industry.
During the period spanning the 70's to the 90's we concentrated on heavy tippers and caterpillar earthmovers, for site clearance, servicing the building boom. Alongside all of this we built a sizeable fleet of skips for hire, and later an indoor waste transfer station was added at the Tyne riverside site.
For some time we had also been supplying quality vans to a growing band of loyal customers. Since the sale of the waste disposal side of our interests in 2003, we have been able to concentrate on and develop the vehicle sales business. We are still keen to drive this further and have recently added the latest generation of the family to the team, Adam Frost. We now have an enviable reputation for superb customer satisfaction, supplying the very best value for money, quality light goods vehicles, throughout the UK and abroad.
